Having always handled fabrics as a child, I relished the opportunity to use clay, paint, textiles and constructions whilst studying for a teaching degree in Art, Craft and Design. I am a freelance artist with Arts Care Gofal Celf and I currently work part time with disadvantaged adults and undertake school and community art projects. I enjoy facilitating groups to engage in the making process.
I have developed my own style of work alongside residencies and have exhibited at the Kooywood Gallery, Cardiff; The Washington Gallery, Penarth; Fountain Fine Art, Llandeilo and Art Matters, Tenby as well as other venues in West Wales.
Undertaking the City and Guilds hand and machine embroidery courses embraced my lifelong enthusiasm for textiles and fibres. I am a member of Itchy Fingers Textiles Group.
