I take my inspiration from the world around me. Using flowers, the cycle of nature and the landscape behind my home in West Wales as a catalyst, I enjoy emulating my love of colour, shape and surfaces in paint and other media. I am experimental and intuitive in my approach. The rhythmical shape of the flower is extended to the female form, organic shapes resonating with a passion for colour and texture. Expressing the feminine in nature and joy for the simple things, allows a glimpse into a world of colourful, sensual impressions.
